Lindsay Lohan: Fash Trash
Fashion's favourite f**k up Lindsay Lohan has caused a stir once again with this explicit shoot for italian 'Muse'. Posing 'not for any sensational value other than artistic integrity' (Pahhhhh, tea spluttering on computer), Lohan is pictured in erotic poses that were supposedly inspired by the debauched relationships of Kate Moss and Johnny Depp. Whilst a few shots are worthy of some kind of praise (see cigarette image) the shoot as a whole looks more like trashy porn than anything that can be given the clout of a high fashion spread.
Top of the Shops
Despite concentrations being on the integration into NY this year, Topshop has done it again and produced an SS10 line that will not disappoint!! Unfortunately it will be hitting the shops too late to make our Christmas list but some of these bits may just have to be little presents to ourselves!

The Americana look is a key trend for SS10

To fur or not to fur?

So apparently fur is dead?! In the war of fur 'v' faux where are we meant to stand? Surely if it is acceptable to wear leather shoes and angora jumpers then a rabbit fur coat is ok, it too is a by product of the meat after all!
What most don't realise is, that the super-brand; McQueen, Fendi, Joseph, Vuitton, Galliano and the rest, will only use fur from specific manufacturers, who dispatch furs to these said brands from animals that have not been slaughtered inhumanely - not saying that this is of any conciliation at all and am not endorsing it.

Anna Wintour was quoted as saying "when fur is not in fashion then we (Vogue) will stop shooting it" which mirrors the opinion of super fearless Editor Carine Roitfeld.
Her August issue 2008 shoot with Testino featuring Raquel Zimmermann literally sticking hermiddle finger up at PETA protesters.
Agree with her or not, you can't deny that this shoot is AMAZING and really pretty brave!
Where do you stand?

TPLRG's:Sample Sale

Because we are sharing and caring, and well frankly, one little rich girl has just committed herself to a hideously expensive holiday which will take a whole lot of eBay and extra shifts to pay off and the other will get crucified by her boyfriend for 'accidentally' stumbling in and out of yet another sample sale laden down with more bags than a shopaholic at Christmas (there are only so many times you can use 'but I really need the new lizard skin Jimmy Choo, it's a total investment and we can sell it on eBay for loads' absolutely NO intention of selling said bag).
So we are foregoing our places at the Nicholas Kirkwood sample sale.
Friday 4th December (12pm-7pm) and Saturday 5th December (10am-7pm); Swarovski crystallized Lounge, 24 Great Marlborough Street, London, W1F 7HU- Cash and cheques only.
Have fun ladies!

31 Rue Cambon

As if we needed another excuse to drag our boyfriends into Chanel (still trying to convince mine a 2.55 is like buying a house-it's a total investment!) almost every day of the week, now we find out that King Karl (yes we have two kings- Karl and Christian) has decided that magazines rule and is producing his very own in-house Chanel version with the irrefutable creative talent of Purple Magazine's Oliver Zahm.
The magazine aptly named "31 Rue Cambon" after the address of the first and oldest Chanel boutique will be available in every store worldwide. Oliver said, "this is the first issue and first Chanel magazine which I have art directed and designed for Karl Lagerfeld."
We are too excited and have a feeling that issue 01 will be incredibly hard to get hold of so expect queues and catfights, or should that be Karlfights, which ever, we are happy to see Chanel advocate the significance of the glossy.
